The SO-101 is an open-source robotic arm the lab builds, calibrates, and uses as a working platform for motion control and end-effector work. It is the project we have taken furthest, which is why it is the one with a parts list and a build guide of its own.

PLACEHOLDER BODY - replace in Ghost Admin. Worth covering: what the arm is for, what it takes to build one, where the build gets difficult, and what someone should expect to learn from it. Do not state a degree-of-freedom count, servo count, payload, or reach until the upstream specification is confirmed.

The parts list and build guide are linked from this project on the projects page.

Attribution is a publishing-checklist item: replace the bracketed values above before launch. For the SO-101, which derives from open-source hardware, this is a license term, not a courtesy.
